I think this thread is a little unfair, part of being a fanatic is overreacting to everything. I look at the GDTs as a safe space, where people can vent their frustrations and let those alcohol/weed/etc fueled emotions out.

We all get a little cray cray at times. One time, during a particularly bad game against the Chargers, I bet my gf $50 that the Chiefs wouldn't win another game that year. Of course, there were many pitchers of beer prior to this and my gf took me up on it and taught me a lesson.

It doesn't mean I don't like the team, it's just a way to vent and let off steam. Win or lose, it's all just a game and meaningless for us fans at the end of the day. After all, our reward for all our fandom is to pay taxes, high ticket, concession and parking prices for the privilege of watching our chosen team.
