This, A lot of people, myself included, are so used to having these champions that have been so dominant so long and just never lose that when new champions come along they just asume they're going to lose their next fight because they haven't had the 'staying' treatment like most of the champs in the UFC. Well until there is another champ like Brock, I'm giving the champ the benefit of the doubt until the contender for them is without a doubt going to win. The champion is a champion regardless, and got to be that way somehow. [Reply]

I never said he wasn't hit, I also did not know he had gotten retina surgery, doesn't make me like him though. [Reply]

Nah I was just trying to clear the air that he was actually hit and it is a career ending injury for some fighters. Nobody has to like anybody based on other opinion imo. :-) [Reply]
WEC on Versus tonight. Faber is fighting and he is never boring. I think he'll find that 135 is just as tough as 145 but we'll see. UFC 122 this weekend as well, rooting for Marquardt in that one. [Reply]
