I totally forgot about this play, and probably most of this era tbh. But just saw the highlight on IG and it took me to a very dark place. But figured I’d share anyway. Jonathan Baldwin…. Amazing catch, horrible era of football.

Too bad Bart Starr passed away. Perhaps big money Penner and the "General" could have brought him in to play for Lombardi (because of the name and all) as their starting QB. [Reply]

Also to caveat on your stupid post, how many SB appearances did Payton have without a HOF QB? How many Conference Championship appearance and wins? How many winning seasons did he have without Brees? Andy also has never had a losing season with a HOF QB and only has three in his career. Payton had four with a HOF QB.
Reid is head and toes a better HC than Payton and you and Klis will come to realize that when he leads the Broncos to more wins and a worse draft position, but no rings. [Reply]
The only way for Denver to build a true contender was to nail a couple high draft picks. Instead, they gave them away and brought in someone to coach them up to mediocrity so they'll never have a high pick. :-) [Reply]
Do you remember that time you came to CP bragging about how many great moves Denver made in the off season, only to have it ALL blow up in your face, and then LAST PLACE Denver finished in LAST PLACE? :-) [Reply]

He will just chalk it up to injuries and dig his heels in. [Reply]
