Denver is going to be special this year. Love seeing what’s happening. Not only are they signing the best professionals I’ve ever worked with, but the best people I’ve ever been around.@beau_lowery is exactly that. Well Deserved! You’ll love it in Denver!

Everything they did last year makes sense if you view it through the Rodgers lens. It's why they held on to Drew, and only Drew for so long. It's why they traded for a cheap fallback QB the night before the draft. It's why they didn't pursue Justin Fields or Mac Jones, and chose a corner instead. It's why they traded Von Miller for a 2nd and a 3rd. It's why they gave Courtland Sutton and Tim Patrick contract extensions mid-season. It's why they fired Fangio and hired Rodgers' Offensive Coordinator. This has all been planned out with Rodgers in mind.

The Packers don't have a lot to work with at the skill positions. It's why Rodgers was so angry when they drafted Jordan Love instead of a WR. All they have is Davante Adams, Aaron Jones and a bunch of blocking TE's.
LaFleur may not be as great as you think. He or his handpicked ST staff have let down the Packers in the playoffs in each of the last two years.

Only Sutton has proven he can put up any kind of production to be considered a true #1 guy at his position. The rest of them get the magic wand excuse of, "The QB wasn't any good!"
You ever consider that maybe Tim Patrick is Demarcus Robinson with a much higher contract? That Noah Fant and Albert Oasfgldughskdf, anlskfu are just kind of there? That KJ Hamler doesn't need targets or coaching or a QB or anything like that, because he just plain sucks?
Denver's interest in Nathaniel Hackett has been known since the fall. And for obvious reasons, given his relationship with Aaron Rodgers (Rodgers actually championed his HC candidacy).
But Hackett's bright, charismatic in his own right, was a huge asset for Matt LaFleur in GB.

Nathaniel Hackett was FIRED UP at the Nuggets game tonight. When asked what will be different with the Broncos with him as head coach, he said: “We’re just going to tear it up. It’s that simple… LETS GO!”

Sutton has proven himself as a Pro Bowl caliber WR. Tim Patrick would be a damn good #2 WR on most teams in the league, he would've been perfect for KC actually. KJ is our speed guy. At worst KJ Hamler will be Mecole Hardman, and he has the ability to be a DeSean Jackson.
But now you want a cooked Cooks over Sutton? [Reply]

Denver can't compete with what the Giants and Eagles can offer from a draft pick standpoint.
