I didn't pay much attention to the D on the all 22, but when I did and FAU was playing he was making an good plays. From the little I saw it looked like he outplayed Karlaftis. I'll have to give the D a watch. [Reply]

If Tamba teaches Karlaftis hand fighting, he might surprise. It took Tamba a number of years, but it was hand fighting that made him a monster. That plus motor was a great combo. Karlaftis has the motor. [Reply]

He's more advanced than I expected.
Taylor Decker is a damn good LT and very techinically sound. To be able to beat him with a technical move, not just pure athleticism or outside speed, in his first pro game... that is enticing.

I'd really like to get a pure speed guy somewhere along the way, but shit these 2 look real nice. [Reply]

I still just can't help but laugh at this offseason. Rice, Thompson, Coburn - all guys I really liked. And Taylor/James in FA.
Veach just lived in my head this off-season.
I hope these guys don't suck...
I liked the strategy re getting speed late, only thing is...24. Not sure what the development curve looks like. Could be a really nice situational rusher, could be another Kaindoh.
FAU was exactly what I wanted from the available DEs. [Reply]
