bit of a stretch to think DJ wouldn't have been any good if it weren't for Todd Haley.

DJ and Bowe were both lazy and underachieving before Todd Haley.

I remember DJ being in the doghouse his rookie year. But he was a 1st round pick for a reason.

I must be pretty lucky that I never had to go through the Cassel years. He wasn't only a terrible, overpaid player but he was also an arsehole. Fuck him.

Two of the worst examples of leadership I've ever seen from a QB:

1. Being booed by the fans and mouthing 'shut the fuck up' during a game.

2. Holding a post game press conference after the same game, in which he threw 4 INT, and saying, straight-faced "I graded out perfectly."

the only player I ever hoped got injured. That's pretty uncharacteristic of me and if I went back in time I probably wouldn't have posted a bunch of times that I hoped he got hurt. But it was the only way that he was going to get off the field. Dark times.

10 defenders within 7 yards of the line of scrimmage

with 1:08 left in the game :-)

Two guys that stink. Matt was right that day though. Todd was a disaster idiot of an hc.

Was he?

The Chiefs dominated the game. Coaching staff deserves some credit.

Cassel made a mistake and didn't like getting called on it, is how I read this. Well, fuck him and the horse he rode in on. His career was a mistake.
