KANSAS CITY, Mo. — Multiple sources have confirmed to FOX4 that should the Kansas City Chiefs win Super Bowl LIX, there will be no rally for the public.
This comes after a mass shooting at last year’s Super Bowl champions rally outside Union Station.
Chiefs seek another Super Bowl sweep in rematch against Eagles
If they win, the celebration will begin with an exclusive gathering at Arrowhead Stadium for players, their families, Missouri Gov. Mike Kehoe and Kansas City Mayor Quinton Lucas. That gathering may be broadcast on screens along the parade route. [Reply]
Yeah I don't get why they wouldn't just have an event at the stadium or at the T-Mobile center where there would be security and metal detectors [Reply]
Personally the coolest thing about the parade was turning the city red (or blue for the Royals) and showing out for the city and the community. Didn't matter what tax bracket you were in, you could show up and see your favorite team and players.
This step feels like the beginning of the end for events like this. [Reply]

My guess is it couldn’t accommodate all the people who would want to be there and it would be chaotic. [Reply]

What about the ones who sold their playoff tickets to Bills fans for several thousand dollars? [Reply]
