RunKC 06:02 PM 12-10-2024
Said he is most likely to play on Xmas but they are trying to target the Texans game. Depends on if he’s ready

Signing Hollywood seems like an easy decision this Spring. He did nothing for this value this year. He won’t be super expensive and Kelce is coming off the books after next year at latest.

Makes too much sense to me

My only hesitation would be his injury history.

Has he been moved to the 21 day window by the team yet? I haven't seen that reported yet. But, if I understand the rules correctly, he can't start practicing until that 21 day window has been opened.

Yeah, I agree with you both, so I'd say try to meet in the middle with another one-year prove it deal. Unless he has an incredible postseason (sign me up), he isn't going to get anything better elsewhere having to learn a new offense.

I agree. But he’s the best WR we can get to beat man coverage which we will desperately need. He wasn’t expensive either. Bet we could get him for a nice deal.

I like Hollywood or Elijah Moore to fit that role

I’d hold off on wanting a contract and let this play out

To all the bitchers and moaners about how the offense has struggled this year. Yeah we lost our freaking WR1, WR2 and RB1 for the majority of the year. No other team in the league could have sustained those injuries.

Pacheco getting back up to speed. Hollywood on his way back. Call me crazy but I believe 100% in the law of averages. After a couple big drops DHop is going to deliver an incredible catch or two when it matters most.

Hasn't that been the issue?
Hold the ball longer and Mahomea get dumped on his head

You have two legit man-beaters who can win overtop in Brown and Worthy, with two really good underneath zone-beaters in Hopkins and Kelce/Gray at any given time.

If he and Pat pick up where they seemingly left off, we can't understate the residual impact this could have. If Worthy goes back to not being the only guy teams worry about downfield, that alone is going be a big deal.
Yep - it totally changes how defenses are currently playing us, IMO

Even converting one extra third down a game is huge for this team. Probably puts +3 or +4 points on the board.

The offense has been weird enough that it almost makes me wonder if they just chose to stick with the plan and hope the pieces come back.

Say you're running a race and you lose a cylinder. You don't take the motor out and replace it with a V6 -- you try to drive defensively and stay out front as long as you can to find the issue and repair it, then hope you've bought the time you need for the repaired V8 to get you the win.

Rather than re-work the offense, we just played tighter and hoped that the pieces would come back. Hopkins replaced Rice and that helped a bunch, but Hollywood returning would get the offense mostly back to what was envisioned.

Man....this makes me really miss Rice too. I think he was gonna have a real big big year....like 1300 yard 12 td year.

They’re having trouble converting in the redzone bc they don’t have enough guys getting open.

Hollywood helps fix that problem in a major way

Andy Reid on WR Hollywood Brown: "He's getting close. He's champing at the bit to get back out there, but he's got to visit with the doctor to make sure he gets clearance there."

Reid was unwilling to provide a specific date for a return to practice.

I am not purposefully trying to look ahead but I can’t help but get insanely excited about Rice and Worthy next year. They’ll both be comfortable with Patrick. Both complement each other so well.

Worthy has averaged 50 YPG the last month. Hes really coming on like Rice did last year.

Aside from the obvious LT problem, they need to get that RB talent to go with Pacheco bc we’ve seen how much that makes a difference in the small sample size with Perine and Pacheco creating explosive plays.

They really miss what Jerrick McKinnon provided. I know I keep beating that horse to death but it’s a low huge need to fill.
