I actually don’t see a ton of chatter from other fans about Humphries. It’s going to be glorious having him get his first start on the Sunday night game as we score 38 points against a top defense because Mahomes has time and all other fan bases freak out and complain about us getting him off the scrap heap. There’s the spirit.
Humphries, Hollywood and Pacheco (plus Worthy taking on a bigger role and Hopkins learning the offense) will make this easily the most talented KC offense of the last three years. It won’t even be close.
Omenihu and Uche will improve the pass rush. The only concern is going to be the secondary. And if Watson comes back, it’s over for the rest of the league. [Reply]
I like the Chiefs chances with the long week. That gives the Chiefs time to get guys like Pacheco, Omenihu and Uche a chance to acclimate. Same for Humphries. Time to clinch the division! [Reply]
Going to be one of those games where Mahomes is firing on all cylinders and turns into Robo-Mahomes.
He's been sacked a career high 32 times and we somehow have 11 wins... talk about overcoming some bullshit. Long week with Humphries entering the line-up is probably going to unleash some crazy shot plays to Worthy. I'm expecting big things from Pacheco and a win. [Reply]
Are the Chiefs going to gameplan in this one...or they going to deliberately stop doing whatever is working after half? Allow a comeback...then win by the skin of their teeth.
Pacheco rips off a 30 yards run against the Raiders...then see's one more carry all game....while Mahomes is getting destroyed and the LT eventually gets benched.
If anyone has a theory on why...I'd like to hear it.
One score, down to the wire games are their 2024 thing...I guess. Good practice for the post-season...that's my rationalization. [Reply]
I feel better about this one than I did a week ago, which might sound crazy to some
It’s become very apparent that the Chargers are really outperforming their talent which is a huge credit to Harbaugh, but I’m no longer viewing them as a team capable of winning multiple playoff games this year. They have one of the best turnover ratios of the past many many years and are 8-4.
By next year, they’re probably a real threat to contend for the West title. But in this one, SNF, at hom, Chiefs need this game to stay in the #1 slot… I think we get it done. [Reply]
