Hey, at least the team is pointed in the right direction this year and we're not like 30 or 35 out dwelling in the cellar. But it's been far more positive this year, but don't get your hopes up for this year cause it ain't happening.

If they even go .500 the rest of the way that's 12 wins. The Red Sox have an easier week this week to make up some ground, but that's followed by a tough two week stretch where they have to play the Orioles, Yankees, Rays and Twins. By default someone we're battling for a playoff spot is going to be losing almost every day during that stretch.
Just like the final two weeks for the Twins is Cleveland, Boston, Miami, Baltimore. If we can just get through this tough stretch we don't play any more AL playoff teams the rest of the way while they beat up on each other.
Although that said Detroit and Seattle are breathing down Boston's neck. We do play Detroit toward the end. They're both only a half game behind Boston but Seattle's losing right now.
