Nzoner's Game Room>The Front Office Should be Ashamed of Themselves
comochiefsfan 06:47 PM 12-10-2023
Look at what they’re doing to the best player in the game.

His own teammates are consistently sabotaging him on a weekly basis.

And now he’s finally emotionally coming unglued.

Just a complete embarrassment all the way around.

Total malpractice and an absolute waste of your biggest investment.

If Veach and Reid had any balls they would cut Toney tonight as he has now single handedly cost us not one but TWO games. I wouldn’t blame Pat if he went scorched earth in his presser. Someone has to hold these clowns accountable and if the FO and coaching staff won’t then maybe he should.

Either way this is unacceptable and shameful.

Yep they went with who they had thinking they would be better. They were wrong. Not much you can do about it at this point except maybe send a message by jettisoning Toney. But in hindsight it's laughable to think back to the start of the season when we all believed that we had an abundance of receivers worth keeping.

There are no WR's that run routes and get open that Mahomes has any confidence in. I think Rice will get there eventually but he is not there yet either.

WR room was mismanaged as well as the coaching and development plans.

Kelce looking like a 34 year old TE and McKinnon looking like a 31 year old RB was entirely predictable.

Both were huge parts of the Chiefs passing game last year.

A decline in their production this year would mean more pressure on the WR position to produce.

The formula for success last year was not replicable this year.

Plus, scoring is down around the NFL. Defenses are playing better.

Exactly. The WR's were not good last year. Why go into the year with no Vet WR's that could catch the ball?

Banking on Skyy who had shown nothing, Toney was always hurt, and a small school 2nd round rookie was just arrogance.

Then they doubled down by talking about developing Skyy at the trade deadline.

This team wins zero rings without Veach. He found Mahomes. And Dorsey didn't find Kelce Andy knew about him for years bc of Jason Kelce and his son coaching a team against him every year when he was at Temple.

JFC these people know nothing :-)

Veach has done really well in the draft, mostly on defense and Oline and fixing problems.

His weaknesses have been adding offensive skill players and understanding the salary cap.

Yes he has made some nice moves but let’s not pretend there weren’t veteran fall back options out there either. Thielen was out there if nothing else..

Why are you shooting strays at Rice? What has he done to deserve this? lol

100%.

But you’ll never convince our resident embarrassments of that. Losers always expect absolute perfection from everyone but themselves.
