Yeah that holding call was Mahomes fault not Jawaan’s. Patrick held the ball for like 7 seconds o that play. Stay in the fucking pocket dude. Taylor didn’t even hold until after 4 seconds. [Reply]

If you're bitching about Taylor because he's doing a poor job in his actual play, then fine. If you're bitching about Taylor because of 5-yard penalties, I don't know what to tell you.
"Fix the OL at any cost to protect Mahomes!" Well, Veach did. He took the best guy in free agency that year and gave him a crazy contract. And for the most part, he's kept Mahomes upright.
To me, that's getting the job done "at any cost" as ya'll like to put it.
I’m hoping Wanya or Kingsley can be a reliable long term option at Left Tackle. The revolving door on the blind side is not sustainable. [Reply]

Wanya was just fine yesterday as was the OL as a whole. The QB was ass and bailed out of clean pockets over and over again while missing wide open WR’s downfield. [Reply]

I agree. It takes time for him to trust guys. Look what happened with Orlando in 2021 and 2022. By end of 2021, Patrick was trusting Orlando a lot better than he was in the earlier part of the season. Similar deal with Donovan Smith in 2023. I think by end of season, he will trust Wanya (or Kingsley) more than he does right now. They gotta stop changing guys at this spot every year. [Reply]
