Nzoner's Game Room>Farm living with goats...
Mephistopheles Janx 10:24 PM 07-13-2022
Here is a series of videos I took from two days ago on the farm. Had 3 goats get out of their enclosure but thankfully they have no interest in wandering away... they stay right by home.

Most of them are fainting goats with the exception of one.

I hope you enjoy the following presentation. Hit the right arrow to view the next short video.

I’m new to owning goats… these was my goat adventure from yesterday.

Why not post updates on the red ragtop or the motorcycle you were going to convert to a farm bike?

Nobody cares about goats lol.

Haven't taken the Solstice out to a race yet. Haven't started on the farm bike... got caught up with other projects instead.

That said... the goats are the main attraction at the farm. They are the headliners. They get top billing over everything.

These are myotonic. They don't act like they just solo'ed an 8 ball of coke. If they get too excited they just fall over.

Very cool Janx. I envy you guys with some land and the ability to do this. Looks like a good life to retire to.

Have you tried making cheese? When I lived in Thomasville GA, they were getting $100/lb for this stuff.

I think every family should own goats. I would be married if my girlfriends dad owned goats. There is nothing he can give me in exchange for matrimony.

I deal strictly in meat goats. I *COULD* get milk from these as well but they don't have too much and their teats are smaller making it more of a chore to do it.

The market for goat meat in MO is growing at a ridiculous rate and not just because of the number of ethnicities in the area. The price of beef has gotten to the point where people are looking for alternative sources of protein at a better price. I offer grass fed goats and the only shots they are regularly given are CD&T once a year.

You were the inspiration for my post in this thread today. Well.. aside from them being born.

Thought you would approve.

I’ll stay with the beef no matter the cost

Have you ever had goat other than, perhaps, in a curry? Would you try it?

"Don't be fearful; be faithful."

Ex-NFL Center Jason Brown walked away from a $35 million contract to pursue a greater purpose in farming.

Growing up a talented athlete, Jason's skills landed him the dream: a successful career in the NFL... and all the wealth & fame that comes… pic.twitter.com/6UQ1fge8RE
