oh I didn't realize the cap hits were gonna be like that. I wasn't really being serious though

Patrick is a bargain at any price.

Dolphins didn't really have much of a choice other than to pay him.

The market makes no sense at all.

It’s a market where a 6.5/10 guy can get paid like a 9.5 guy if his turn is next whilst the 10/10 guy is happy to take 7.5/10 money to help the team and go win rings then make a ton of extra cash on endorsements instead of directly from the team.
Great situation when you have the very best player locked up and happy for many years to come.

Tua will never have a skill position core better than he’s had the last two seasons and he hasn’t been able to advance past the fucking wild card round.
This is pretty much like if the Chiefs extended Alex Smith after 2016 instead of drafting Mahomes, although that would be a little unfair to Alex as he at least got to the Divisional round a couple of times.

They're going to do their best 2003 KC Chiefs impersonation this year - all offense and no defense.
They're going to be losing games 45-41 this season. More than one will go down like that.

Salaries are getting ridiculous. Is anyone really worth more than $50 million / year. Getting to where families won't be able to go to games any longer!

I’d be ecstatic if I was Miami. You can’t use playoff wins as a metric because nobody has really done shit besides Mahomes. You have to pay him that and I wouldn’t think twice
