We are average 5.2 yards per play, which is *by far* the worst of the Mahomes era and actually *below average* this year in the NFL. He's probably the worst starting LT in the league and kills drives.
I think you have to bring in one of the former starters who are on the street. [Reply]

That's fair, the urgency was never even really there until we dropped down two scores in the 4th Q and by then it was too late. [Reply]

It's amazing how great this offense is the second they get behind by 2 scores [Reply]
What I saw was a DL that can't get consistent pressure when Jones is doubled. Teams, like the Bills and divisional opponents, get to see the defensive scheme year after year and their players and staff are paid just like ours are. Part of this is being king of the mountain, everyone wants a piece of you and to be you. Most NFL QBs will destroy any defense if they don't have pressure and Allen is very good. The luck ran out of the horseshoe tonight.
The funny thing is Mahomes is self-aware enough to know it too. But we've been going through the motions in most regular season games for two years now; today was no different for much of it. [Reply]

Let them have their day.
jk, laugh at them.
Well he's been bad almost every game. A guy off the street is an upgrade. And our backup tackle is so bad if he goes down we are Tampa Bay Super Bowl fucked. [Reply]
What's weird is how little we help them. We have 20 tight ends but when they're in they go out in routes instead of blocking. We also use Steele to help block and chip instead of Hunt or Perine even though they're much better pass blockers than he is.
We also don't run plays that will slow the pass rush up. We could run quick slants/screens to DHop and Worthy behind the rush and get good to great gains. We can also run RB screens to our two very good pass catching backs to make the defense think twice about being so aggressive. But we haven't done that. Makes no sense. [Reply]

Steele shouldn't be on the field on passing plays.
He's not a receiving threat out of the backfield. He's not a good blocker. [Reply]
I don't think Nazeeh looks that bad. He had good coverage on the first TD. It was just a perfect pass and he needs to get his head around sooner. The second TD was a ridiculous pass on a blitz that also barely succeeded.
Other than those and the pick play that wasn't called, I don't remember his name being called a ton. He's nowhere near as bad as most of our CBs pre-Spags. [Reply]
