Chiefs lead the league on 3rd with 54%. They converted 66% (!!!) last night. What else do you people want?
In the rain, too. It was a good offensive performance.
I know what O is talking about, though. We got no points on two drives that we really should have had at least 10 between the Worthy no-catch (7) and the Kelce fumble (IIRC we were driving and likely would have come away with at least 3).
Donks can't cover a deep threat and good tight ends consistently. If they try Hunt will run it right up their arse. Donks are posers. Protect PM and let the Chiefs D feast.
Chiefs by 17. [Reply]

Yeah, I hated what we did on O in that series. We needed to be aggressive enough to get a first down, and we turtled a bit on the first two calls. That said, Perine dropping that pass on 3rd down fucked us out of forcing TB having to call their last TO. I don't think he gets anywhere close to a 1st down, but they def call that TO. [Reply]
I think Nix is gonna need to be held in check with his elusiveness. If we can’t stop the qb runs Chiefs will be in for a shootout. Denver’s defense though…might be a lower scoring game. Chiefs haven’t figured out how to win a game without last minute stress though. [Reply]
The Broncos win when Nix plays well, and when the Broncos elite CB tandem shuts down the other teams' wide receivers.
But Nix is going to be facing a Spags defense he has likely never, ever seen. And the Chiefs don't need their WRs to put up stats in order to win.
I think this is a bad matchup for the Broncos. I suspect the Chiefs jump out to an early first half lead of like 17-3, then hit the brakes for the second half to keep their options open for Buffalo next week.
I think there's some potential for a trap game here, because the Broncos hate us more than anyone, and we're probably looking ahead to the Bills game. So a 24-22 victory wouldn't surprise me.
But I think it's just much, much more likely that we put this one away, like 26-20 in a game that isn't nearly as competitive as the score would make it seem. [Reply]
Vic Lombardi is predicting Broncos sweeping the Chiefs this season and taking the west. This is behind closed doors and he’s never put his money where his mouth is, but he’s always been a homer/goober. I just laughed when he said it to me. [Reply]
