That was certainly a part of it.
But I think even MORE important was Hill's elite ball tracking ability. We have had speed since...but not the ball tracking ability. Hardman's lousy at it. MVS was lousy at it and then often couldn't pull in a ball that hit him in the hands.
Worthy has that ball tracking ability. That allows Mahomes to just chuck it out there and let him go get it in a way that we haven't had since Hill.
I really think we see it more and more as the season goes on.
Worthy is going to get more involved in general. They used him like Tryeek to convert a couple huge 3rd downs last week, and I expect more and more of that. He gets open all day long. IMOP he's going to be a damn good football player. Hell, he already is... [Reply]
