The good news is that cincy fans are getting cooked. Even people who hate the chiefs are telling them to chill out. I mean the two plays they’re griping about, the dpi and hip drop, without a shadow of a doubt the refs called those correctly [Reply]

It was, but the narrative is that the Chiefs get ALL the calls. The clearly do NOT, as evidenced by the play immediately preceding it, which nullified a first down. [Reply]
Lol the hill they're gonna die on is their #95 was being "held" and the PI should've been offsetting. Even though he wasn't being held. Grasping at straws. [Reply]
Usually I agree about the media but I think they’ve by and large agreed the likely, chase and rice PI calls were correct. Ignore cincy media and barstool cincy or clickbait trolls like skip. Almost all of the analysts see this as cut and dry correct calls [Reply]
The holding call is a little sketchier but this is moving the uprights. Cincy was going scorched earth about the rice pass interference and chase unsportsmanlike conduct calls. They only started griping about holding hours later.
And holding is not the place to gripe. Everyone knows holding happens all the time and is inconsistently enforced for both times. [Reply]
Find me a team sport anywhere that fans don’t complain about the officiating. The irony is that both Chiefs and Bengals fans are complaining about the refs thinking the other one got away with a bunch of missed calls. [Reply]
Their new argument is that rashee rice backs into the DB. The DB was there first and therefore has the right to the ball. You can’t make this shit up. As if rashee doesn’t have inside position on him. [Reply]
A log of the dumb excuses for those who aren’t following these twitter blowhards. Even fucking barstool is trolling these fans
- defender has the same right to the ball (no, dumbasses. Not when the wr has inside position and the DB plays through the wr)
- this is like any Hail Mary play where fouls are never called (No it isn’t. This is a catchable 20 yard pass and it’s not 10 people going up for the ball. It’s 1 on 1)
- rashee backed into the DB (no comment. This is just another level of braindead)
I am loving this. That these fans are this eager to die on this hill. [Reply]

I actually thought the game yesterday was called pretty well. The only complaints I have from a Chiefs perspective was the DPI where Chase pulled McDuffie down and the offsides that should've been a free play and instead all they called was holding that wiped a big play off the board.
Oh and the DPI that wasn't called on Rice earlier in the game. It was almost identical to the one they did call at the end of the game. Defender all over his back. [Reply]
In fairness, I was at a Bengals-dominated sports bar yesterday. There may have been one other Chiefs fan somewhere, but there were probably 50+ Bengals fans, which was shocking to me. I didn't know that many people from Cincinnati existed.
Anyway, when the play happened they initially cheered and hooted loudly, then howled in indignation at the flag. But when the TV showed the replay, the penalty was so clearly obvious that I heard nothing but a few muttered expletives. Everyone there knew that it was a legitimate penalty. [Reply]

Did you yell out 'How about those Chiefs' and buy the bar a round when your favorite kicker nailed the game winner? That would be true CP fashion. [Reply]
