Nzoner's Game Room>Pro Bowl LT DJ Humphries Medically Cleared [signed by Chiefs]
SHOWTIME 09:18 AM Today
Does Veach give him a call?

I predict @Chiefs. Makes too much sense https://t.co/hu5xdI5KF2

Is this a better choice than a healthy Smith that knows the playbook(mostly)? Honest question as I always default to “trust in Veach.”

**** how is Morris and Kingsley still our two LT options, blows my mind. We will probably pass on this unit and instead sign another WR practice squad cast away

No idea I’d I think they’ll do anything but at this point….JAG+ is an improvement

Depends what their plans are for the position. If they’re set on Kingsley next year no matter what, then Smith would be your best bet, but I hope to God that’s not their plan.

However, I almost think they’d be foolish not to look into this long term. We need a goddamn LT, and this guy has at least 3-4 more good years in him if he’s healthy. We’re losing Trey next year so the interior is already going to be weaker. This would fill a massive short-term and long-term need without having to wait until the offseason to do it.

This really needs to happen.

This would be outstanding, but I wouldn't hold my breath

Andy is bullheaded to a fault about the O line

Hey Bart, Have we bring him in to sign this lunchpail who live close to the ship yet?

When you get the job, you have the job. And there's seemingly little that can be done to displace you.
IMO, this is the only guy available that if healthy as advertised would be an actual upgrade over either of our OT's.

With that said, DJ is right. They aren't making a move this late in the year.

Pat "doesn't trust" who he has now, can't imagine they give him more to think about 12 weeks into the season.

I feel pretty confident that if they can afford him, they'll do it. If for no other reason, Morris always seems to get hurt even though he typically comes back. There's no way they trust anybody other than him at this point.

Me thinks we're going all in as is at this point. Don't see it.
