This is a massive hole that is filled for the #chiefs. Trent McDuffie is considered by almost everyone as the 3rd best CB in this draft. The first two went off the board at 3 and 4.

The @Chiefs make a big move for a top CB (and my model's #8 overall prospect) in Trent McDuffie, who allowed 3.1 yards/target in 2021 at Washington (best in FBS, min. 30 targets).

Could be a key piece to counter the wealth of receiving talent in the AFC come playoff time!

Good value absolutely. My only issue is that Veach has routinely found quality DB play with far less investment. That said, I can also read that as Veach fucking LOVES this kid.

Also, I wish Deberg was here to troll everyone by saying “Great pick. He’ll be great on special teams for us. You need guys like that.”

dB went 1.3
dB went 1.4

no dB was picked 1.5-1.20

we got the 3rd best dB at 1.21 right ahead of Buffalo who needed a dB.

might work out. if we hit on a wr with a later pick this could be something that pays off bigly
