3. In the Mahomes era KC is 15-3 in the playoffs. That’s essentially another full season of wear and tear.
4. Between jet setting with Swift, his podcast, tons of commercials might be also wearing him down.
5. Is this his last season? Possibly, but I fully expect him to give his all the rest of the season and especially in the playoffs.
Yep Reid needs to coast him with Rice, Grey, Wiley and company until the deep season/playoffs... time for the young guys to step up or step out [Reply]

Who in the passing game killed it today? Rice had a couple plays but no one was just a consistent problem for Cincy. And to be honest, that’s how it always is against them.
It's not.
He looks terrible. The broadcast doesn't do it justice.
He's walking routes. He's getting driven off blocks.
If this is what he has to offer, he should retire now. And if it's not, he needs to un-fuck himself and start playing football.
Half-assing the season isn't doing to keep him from getting hurt. In fact, it will all but assure it. Football isn't a game you can play at 3/4 speed and we all know this.
Be the hammer or you'll be the nail.
If this is what he has to offer, he'll be hurt by week 9 and that'll pretty much be that.
I don't think most folks recognize how bad he looks out there. It's rough. [Reply]

There were 50+ other games this game. Even if we count that play, that only gives him 2 receptions for like 40 yards.
He looks slow and tired as hell right now. [Reply]

Don’t forget his biggest fail this week: the Bump birthday incident. [Reply]
But I watched him most of the game and if it wasn't a thread, it should've been.
He looks really bad. It's alarming. It's Willie Mays with the Mets bad.
Guy loves football. Loves his teammates and his coaches and the team. You'll never convince me that he's jaking it.
But that's maybe even more disconcerting. Because if he isn't, he's just washed.
He’s at a point where along with his age, he may genuinely have too many other things going on in his life.
At his age, if you want to stay productive, you have to attack the offseason harder than you ever have. Did he do that? Or did he give some of that time and dedication up to make time for other things in his life?
I’m sure he likes the idea of being here and playing still, but in this league you’re either all in or you will get buried. Tom Brady chose the game over his family because he didn’t have time for both.
