The sports card market is absolutely booming right now. I sold off enough of my other stuff to buy this. There are only 10 of them. It is indescribably beautiful.
I've got some 90's cards in the safe that I haven't looked at in years. They used to be cool but not sure what they'd be worth now. Where do you guys look up the value of old cards these days? [Reply]

90s cards are virtually all worthless, unfortunately. [Reply]

Ebay advanced search Sold listings. If I want to find out the actual selling price of a best offer, because ebay doesn't provide those figures, I check on 130point.com in their ebay sold listings search.
Depends on those 90's cards. Basketball has risen quite nicely. Anything Jordan sells. Pippen, Magic, Olajuwon, Miller etc. all are easy sales as well. Kobe, easy sale...
Football and baseball still lag behind, but have risen recently as well. Junk wax boxes from the late 80's to early 90's I was buying for $3-5 per box just 2 years ago. Now they are selling for $30-80. [Reply]

Even though he was my guy in the 60’s it’s time I move onto a younger dude.
You would be much braver than I.
I can't see Clemente ever losing value at this point. However, I do see these new cards with their astronomical values going down in value in a few years. [Reply]
There is one that ends a day earlier than this one. Be a good judge of where it should be value wise. No previous sales i can find with a quick search. [Reply]

Yeah I remember when I got it graded in the early 90’s & the book value was $1000. I think I saw a NM going for $10,000. I was so disappointed about that grade. I was hoping for a Mint grade.

I’ve hung onto it for 60 years now. I’ve looked at it so long that I’m bored with it. It’s been my main card for awhile since I sold my 52 Topps Mantle 20 years ago. I was so fortunately as a kid growing up that I loved rookie cards & my mom didn’t throw them out in the 60’s.
Having 3 HOFers on one card is pretty cool though & covers my entire life as a Chiefs fan. [Reply]
