Noooooo. Nick Bolton is massively crucial to us. No more contact until preseason w him just have him do the walkthroughs. He knows the d like pat knows the offense [Reply]

I like Williams, but I don't think we should be expecting much out of him. He's a decent corner in a good system on his rookie contract. [Reply]
Not sure there has been a camp practice where Mahomes hasn't gone deep to Worthy (except the ones Worthy missed). Tried twice so far today. Both incomplete but the intent is clear

I've heard a fair number of people suggest that Morris is out-playing Kingsley but that Kingsley is doing enough and demonstrating the kind of talent that has the Chiefs still wanting to see him take the starting job.
And honestly, that's to be expected. In a vacuum, how could Morris NOT be at least a little better than Kingsley right now? He's played in the NFL for a full season. This is his 2nd Reid camp. He's taken starter reps in key late-season games.
Morris had damn well BETTER be playing better than Kingsley at the moment.
But that doesn't mean he's going to get the starter's job. [Reply]

I really think they'll have to make a move if Bolton isn't ready.
LB depth was my biggest area of concern for this team. I think they can make due with a lot of 2nd tier flyer options at CB because we scheme 'em up. But LB just isn't something you can scheme really well and if Bolton's down, this LB room starts leaning heavily on UDFAs and limited guys (Tranquill's size, Chenal's agility).
Bolton going down would be a real big problem. [Reply]

And in a perfect world, you have 2 boundary CBs that can let McDuffie migrate to the slot as needed.
Giving both of those guys plenty of outside run is a good plan. [Reply]
