The #Chiefs and TE Noah Gray reached an agreement on a 3-year contract extension worth 19.5M, source said. He gets a $6M signing bonus and $10M guaranteed at signing.
From a receiving standpoint, when his number has been called, he has been nothing short of exceptional. Not so sure I can recall one instance where I was not impressed with his limited play. Ill trust Veach/Reid here. Entirely possible we have a lot more 2 and 3 tight end sets in our immediate future. [Reply]

Unless Kelce told them he is done after this year. This move makes 0 sense.
As much as I hate to say it, I was thinking the same thing. It's either that or they think Gray is way better than he's had the opportunity to show. [Reply]

I think Wiley's going to take time. Looked great in training camp but showed nothing in preseason. Think it'll be next year, lots of targets to feed this year [Reply]

I’m not sure I’m with you on that. I do think he executes what’s asked which is the low bar a lot of our Receiving targets didn’t clear. But he hasnt done anything spectacular. Maybe he just needs to be cut loose. I dunno. [Reply]
We're not talking about Scott fucking Pioli here, there is clearly more enthusiasm for Gray between Veach and Reid than we're aware of... I'm gonna go out on a limb and trust them [Reply]

Wiley's contributions this year remain to be seen, but the KCSN guys sure are acting like there's some positive buzz behind the scenes:
