Looks like we catch a break not having to face Goedert. He's out for the next four weeks with a fractured forearm.
Eagles’ TE Dallas Goedert has a fracture in his forearm and will undergo an MRI on Monday to determine if there is any further damage, as well, per sources. Either way, Goedert is set to miss time and is an injured reserve candidate. pic.twitter.com/rd9Lnw1fsA
I typically root against the Eagles so I spend every Sunday thinking “this team is really not all that good”, then it’s the 4th quarter, I look up and they’re winning 31-20.
So that tells me they’re still a good team despite not looking as great as they did last season.
Stopping the run will be huge. We also need to keep a lid on the deep ball. I’m still undecided on just how good Hurts is but I am convinced he’s got a top 3 deep ball.
And that’s usually how they break away. He chucks up a deep shot and AJ Brown pulls off some circus shit to bring it in for a TD. [Reply]
We are both different teams than we were in the super bowl.
Something is just off about the eagles pass offense. Hurts has kind of just become a "chuck it up QB." They are fantastic on defense vs the run but suspect against the pass. We get the passing game going and we are good. But honestly I could see our defense making their offense look absolutely miserable if we can limit their run game. We may not need to put up a whole lot on offense. [Reply]
The ****ing Commanders scored a combined 62 points in 2 games against the Eagles, but sure, the Chiefs won't be able to score on the Eagles coming off a bye week.
And yet offenses more talented than the Commanders scored less than that. Why?
They're a divisional opponent. The Broncos gave up 70 points against the Dolphins, but only 9 points against us. Divisional opponents always know how to take you on. [Reply]

The Eagles secondary is terrible. Howell 2X, Dak and Cousins shredded them. It's bc their corners are old and on the decline. CGJ leaving was a bigger loss for them as well which is why they traded for Byard.
We'll have our shots in the passing game even with our issues. It's gonna be a good one
I don't remember Bolton getting crushed? I seem to remember him looking like a boss all game. Nobody has a better answer for the Jalen Hurts play action than Spags. And I think Tranquill gives you everything Bolton gives you, so I don't expect a lot of that to work for the Eagles in the game, so I'm with you there.

If we gave up 31 points twice to the Broncos, you would 100% hold it against the defense if people were talking about them like you're talking about the Eagles. You wouldn't just handwave it as a divisional game that means nothing.
But fine, they also gave up 28 points to the Vikings offense too.
