Funny thing about that is Denver was the team that needed a complete rebuild, and they fooled themselves into just trying to add pieces here and there. They still need to tear the whole thing down and rebuild. :-) [Reply]

This whole last series of exchanges is just maddening. Right now, the Chiefs are king with their 2nd title and Mahomes is only 27 years old. That kinda sucks.
Denver has a bit to go in order to catch up to the Ravens, Bengals, Bills, Chargers... PIT, JAX, MIA they're all pushing upwards as well.
The conference is tough, some solid teams there. Denver has to get a strong staff together under Payton and fix a few holes, while they pull Russ' head from his arse.
Chiefs are what... 3-2 lifetime in the SB and Denver is 3-5 lifetime. Debating which franchise is best over eternity is silly and pointless. It's all about now.
Bring on 2024! Oh and again, congratulations on the win.
I agree with this but it’s fun reading Knowmo’s nonsense and Garcia’s meltdown. They are keeping today interesting. [Reply]

Ryan is only 60 years old. I think he would be a fine choice, who knows - remains to be seen if he's interested in leaving the comfortable studio gig. [Reply]

The NFL Rex left was littered with Brady, Brees, and Manning. They were all statues in the pocket. This new era of QB is vastly different in play style from what he remembers. There is also far more RPO and college concepts than when he coached. Sure he can probably still coach defense, but he would have to adjust significantly to the new game. [Reply]

Holy shit, that donk fan meltdown a few pages back is glorious.
Decades of smug denial, believing that you and your cheap, cheat franchise are "better than", general douchiness and overall asshattery. This is now your reality donk fan. The Chiefs are the best team in the NFL, have the greatest player in NFL history about to enter his prime, who just happened to also have the most accomplished season for any NFL player ever (completely shattering anything your horse faced false idol has ever done), just came off having one of the best draft classes in NFL history, 3x and currently world champs, have 12 picks in the next draft, have tons of cap room, are a desirable location for free agents due to team culture and the desire to win, don't cheat (like actually don't cheat, not just deny cheating and lose draft picks). Everything that donk fan and players thought donk was or ever could aspire to, the Chiefs actually are. Your franchise is a cheating shitstain stuck to the side of the toilet bowl that is about to be pissed off.
To all the Chiefs fans who have had to endure literal decades of their shit: these bitter, delusional, copium filled donk tears, which include both players and fans, are DELICIOUS...drink up boys. [Reply]
Was this done purposely by the NFL to slow down Philly’s pass rush???*♂️*♂️ SCRIPTED. When we (Detroit Lions) played Washington Redskins in the NFC CHAMPIONSHIP they soaked the field so that Barry Sanders couldn’t run the ball!Facts https://t.co/45McT1otcV
:-) He's literally spammed the same play thrice screeching about the 2 edges slipping. You'd figure he'd watch the loop enough to realize they weren't touching Mahomes on that regardless. [Reply]
