You know what Denver reminds me of? You are that actress that for a large part of your career acted in commercials before getting your big break.

After that she acted in some big movies but always lost the Oscar. Finally she wins a couple and then stars in a lot of box office disasters. She finally gets one more break by acting in a couple of big movies winning one more Oscar.

Now she is irrelevant and bitter because her rival is having a career renaissance.
