Terry Bradshaw’s advice to Russell Wilson: “Listen to Sean Payton. He had a guy your size that was smart and ran that offense. And if you’ll study this offense under Payton, he’ll take you to that level you want to be at.“ pic.twitter.com/Iplk8XhbVD
Payton didn’t want to ‘start winning again’. He wanted paid. Simple as that.
If he REALLY wanted to start winning again, he would have went to a different division that didn’t have a Mahomes-Reid QB-Coach combo that he and Rusty will never measure up to.
Enjoy the paycheck, Sean. And Donkos fans, enjoy your new ceiling in the AFC West, possibly second place. That’s it.
I guess it’s better than last, though. :-) [Reply]
Yeah. They might get to second place. The Faiders have no quarterback and are ran by McDipshit. And the Chargers are $23M over the cap and they have to pay Herbert, so the future isn't bright for them. Second place is within reach. Knowshit will think that it's because Wilson is a good quarterback and Payton is a good coach. But in reality, the Donks might be the best of 3 bad teams chasing the Chiefs but never catching them. Seems like a no lose situation for Payton. If he gets them to 8 wins next season he's successful. If they're terrible again it's because of Russ and the roster and he can tear it down. No expectations for a coachin Denver after this season. [Reply]

and if it is a disaster he gets fired and collects 18 mil for a few years for doing nothing. [Reply]
