Payton getting Wilson to work with similar to Brees situation?
Let's see: 27 year old QB coming off shoulder surgery vs. 34 year old QB with declining skills coming off the worst season of his career (not due to injury).
Yup. Pretty much exactly the same.
I'm sure we can start expecting 40 TD and 5000 yard seasons on the regular from DangeRuss going forward . . . . . . . [Reply]
Full answer from Sean Payton to @DMacRadio on Russell Wilson having his own coaches/staff around: “That’s foreign to me. That’s not going to take place here. I’m unfamiliar with it, but our staff will be here, our players will be here and that’ll be it.”

Please tell me there's some caveat here i'm missing. Or is it exactly how it sounds?
Because if it's exactly how it sounds then....:-):-):-):-):-)
He had a bunch of staff. The team nutritionist didn’t make Russ’ post practice smoothie, Russ’ nutritionist had it waiting for him as he was coming off the field. He had his own personal QB coach, Jake Heaps who would coach Russ in his office. He had his own chiropractor, trainer and a traveling film crew too. They weren’t all there on a daily basis but a few of them were.
That stuff all ended after Hackett was fired. [Reply]

What a fuck-head QB you have too. His teammates must despise him.
And to think, you spent all year hyping up Hackett Hugs. At what point did you accept that you were completely full of shit about Hackett and wrong yet again? [Reply]
The idea of Russ having his own staff had good intentions behind it. He was paying for that stuff out of his own pocket. He was doing it so he could be a better player. If Denver was winning it probably wouldn’t have been an issue, but it just looked bad when things weren’t going well. [Reply]

No, it's called being an entitled prima donna and i bet his teammates hate him for it. No respectable coaching staff would ever allow that shit. That's a complete joke.
Now why didn't you answer my question about Hackett? Have a spine, Queso Joe. [Reply]

He was doing it because he's a prima donna idiot. [Reply]

Yep, that's what I figured. Sean has all the leverage here, Russ has none. Sean is the one with all the clout, while Russ is now probably not going to get into the HOF, so he better toe the line or his entire legacy is ashes. Will be interesting to see what happens. [Reply]
