No hate here. I love me some toast, although I try to avoid many carbs, so I rarely eat toast, or any bread for that matter. Just funny that he always has toast, cheese toast, or some other version of toast with dinner. [Reply]

Funny story about carbs.
My MiL says she's doing low-carb. Last Christmas, my wife sees her eating some Oreos and says, "Mom, you shouldn't have those, those are loaded with carbs!" She replies it doesn't count because that's not what most people think of when they think of carbs - you know, bread and pasta.
I'd have been a lot more successful with low carb years ago if I'd have known all I really needed to cut was bread and pasta. [Reply]

Not a lot of difference. Most differentiate on whether or not you use an egg wash in the dredge process or just pat the bread crumbs on.
Some say that piccata has more capers than francese, but that seems more an individual recipe variation than a rule. I like capers in francese. [Reply]

The Mediterranean diet is one of the most varied of all cuisines. Don't forget, the French stole their cooks from Italy.
Many regions of Italy have wild game and offal in their meals. Rabbit, pheasant, tripe, etc. [Reply]

I went to a Filipino party on Friday. They had 10 different homemade dishes they made plus numerous deserts. It was so fucking incredible. Never tasted things like that in my life, one being a pork blood dish. It was fucking delicious.
I would treat your wife like the Goddess she is and will make sure she never leaves the kitchen while she's here. [Reply]
