Payton may actually get them to 10 wins. Unfortunately, that wouldn't win the division the past 5 years, so......
Look, Russell Wilson might be sorta fixable. Hackett was a joke. Having said that, Wilson was showing decline two years ago. He isn't the guy he was, and he isn't Drew Breeze either. With a new Offense, generally you'd expect a downturn for half a season or so due to missed route reads, blocking assignments, etc. Is Payton better than what they've had the past four years? Absolutely. Is he taking them to the SB or even deep into the playoffs with Wilson? Absolutely not. [Reply]
It's already apparent in the way Payton talks about Wilson. He knows he's not winning unless he relegates Wilson to game manager. That's not going to cut it in the same conference as Mahomes, Burrow, Allen, and potentially Herbert and Lawrence. [Reply]

LOL. Do you watch football? Have you seen the AFC? You do know that Wilson is still the QB. Where exactly does he stack up? He's at best 3rd in the division alone while we wait on the Raiders. Mahomes, Burrow, Allen, Herbert, Lawrence, Watson, Lamar and Pickett are all better just for starters.
Peyton can't fix that and all this does is get you some headlines. Only thing that matters is SB wins and you are not getting one with Wilson in the AFC. [Reply]
