Our starting QB threw twice as many INT's as TD's last year and we still were the #1 seed in the AFC and won the Super Bowl. Denver is returning 9 of 11 starters on an alltime great defense... we could be even better than we were last year. [Reply]

Chiefs were a Jamaal fumble at the 2 yard line away from scoring 61 points on Denver last year.
Chiefs also led all but 30 seconds of both meetings last year.
Denver won't be the same team this year. Rebuild time. [Reply]

They also won 11 games by 7 or less points...an NFL record. Wade's defenses have dropped off in year two everywhere he has been DC.
All you have is hope...hope that Sanchez doesn't do what he done throughout his entire career and that the defense doesn't lose a step w/o two starters.. Every team is going to have Denver circled on their schedule and will bring their A game.
Third place....
I wouldn't expect Buttfumble to drive late in the game like Manning did against KC. I also wouldn't expect him to read defenses and audible into proper plays.
That "our QBs sucked" is over-played..Manning was solid in the play-offs and against Green Bay.
Denver's "all-time" defense wasn't even the best of 2016....85 Bears shut out both teams in the play-offs..totally different universe. [Reply]
Here are Wade's stats .... Houston dropped from #4 to #24 and Dallas from #13 to #31. He did get the Cowboys back to #2 but fell to #31 the following season....ouch. There is pattern. In his past seven seasons..only once did the same defense improve the next year.

Elway told Miller that Denver would reach out to his agents this week in an effort to jumpstart talks and procure a long-term deal, a source said.

The difference is this Broncos defense was good before Wade even came to Denver. Unless Denver's defense is completely decimated by injuries, I don't foresee a decline coming. [Reply]

The season hasn't started and you've already lost Malik and Trevathan.
You really think your entire defense stays healthy again this year too?
