But I do feel like we just stumbled out of the darkest part of the darkness. We aren't going to regain relevancy in one year. But man, we have watched some utterly shitty coaching the last six years. I thought Vance Joseph made some of the worst coaching decisions I had ever seen. But it's been all downhill, since then.
Sean Payton represents two really positive developments. First, obviously, we're going to have at least competent coaching. Second, George Paton has, at worst, been neutered. [Reply]

Sean Payton is a much worse GM than Paton, though. That's the problem and by all accounts you've given him full control of the roster. [Reply]

I agree with most of what you said. Including neutering Gomer Paton. But I don't know how much better off you are with Payton given full control. [Reply]
