Micro Penner, got fleeced! Gotta love the desperation in Dung town. Blowmo, you ready to make that bet that you’re still gonna get swept by KC next year? [Reply]

We also get back their 3rd next year. We're probably drafting in the range of #64 in the 2nd. You have to figure that they won't be very good, so their 3rd is probably going to be around 70-ish - so almost a wash. [Reply]

Lololol your ownership knew giving Payton full control was a bad idea but did it out of desperation to save face hahahahahahahahahahalolololokololololl [Reply]
Unbelievable: The #Broncos spent today trying to hire DeMeco Ryans AGAIN today before he recommitted to the #Texans, sources say. When he agreed to terms with the Texans, they moved and finalized Sean Payton.
Multiple people, including Schefter, are disputing this (fake) news.
Timing of today’s two hires was completely coincidental. Broncos were zeroed in on Sean Payton, and didn’t make any contact this week with DeMeco Ryans or his agent. Denver was focused on Payton, and Houston on Ryans.
Clarifying: Broncos did NOT have contact with DeMeco Ryans or his rep since Sunday, per source. While Sean Payton, Jim Harbaugh, DeMeco Ryans were all at forefront of search at various points, focus turned to Sean Payton and Saints trade on Sunday, Monday and today. #9sports
Payton is in a similiar situation to Andy was when he was fired from Philly. Payton is a very good coach but he should not be handling GM duties at all. Andy was able to recognize that weakness in himself when he came to KC and if Payton doesn't, then it will not go anywhere for Denver. Denver already has 2 strikes just for waking up every morning in the same division as Mahomes and Herbert so they better hit a home run here or else they are going to go even further down the dregs. One idiot quoting another. I'm happy you have Payton and WalRuss now..........no, seriously, as a Chiefs fan I am ecstatic that you have Payton and WalRuss. :-) [Reply]

No. Not essentially just the 29th pick. Payton isn't turning around your bottom 5 roster and declining quarterback in one off-season with no first and second round picks. It will likely be pick 29 and pick 42. If New Orleans gets a competent quarterback in the off-season, then they could easily win their shitty division, which would put the pick back at no better than pick 83. But let's say that they don't and pick around 10th, just like the Donks, then it would be pick 74 back. That's realistic. And it's definitely more than essentially the 29th pick. [Reply]

You will have a top ten pick in the second round next season. Hell, maybe even top 5. Sean Payton has done nothing without a great QB and he definitely doesn't have one in Denver. He also has no draft capital to bring in young talent, a roster lacking top talent, and a free agent destination that isn't very attractive to any player wanting to have a shot at winning a Super Bowl.
