Dolphins WR Tyreek Hill was detained by police today entering the stadium for a driving violation, per his agent Drew Rosenhaus. But Rosenhaus said Hill will play today.

I think if there was ever a instance of the officer and Tyreek coming together saying "Hey man we both need to work on this relationship" then start a community outreach program with them both leading it.

Like just flip it to a positive. B

Via the Miami-Dade Police Department, here are the citations received by #Dolphins WR Tyreek Hill, whom police estimated was traveling 60 mph.

Officer Danny Torres, 27 year tenure, remains in administrative duties, as the Internal Affairs investigation is still ongoing. pic.twitter.com/cjmPOxVZUk

You do realize speeding in Florida is a non criminal traffic violation.

Holy shit. We have really jumped the shark as a critical thinking society.
You do realize that due to the traffic conditions and construction zone, they could have bumped this up to a reckless driving charge if they felt it was appropriate, and that is a misdemeanor, right?

In some states, being distracted in a construction/school zone is a misdemeanor, going 15 MPH over is a misdemeanor, tailgating is a misdemeanor, not signing a ticket is a misdemeanor, and so on. They can and will arrest you for not complying with lawful orders. Stop listening to dumbasses like Kaepernick's "know your rights" BS and listen to the police officers orders and be polite. 99.999999% of all similar incidents like this would never happen.

That's politics/media that drive it.

Can I view it as "both parties contributed to this situation" or do I have to pick a side here?

Most shocking thing to me is careless driving is only a $179 fine. WTF.

Hope Hill has a spare $308 to cover the cost of these tickets.

Dude is going to possibly lose his job over getting too enthusiastic about $300 worth of traffic fines.

Say what you will about Hill's attitude. Sure, you should not feel like you are entitled just because you are a rich athlete or celeb. Still doesn't give the cops a right to act like a gorilla.

Hard not to think dude speeding by in a $400K supercar might give some of these cops a bit of penis envy.

Working in Miami they probably deal with a bunch of rich douchenozzles on the regular as well.

Start with wearing a condom and quit relying on your "pull-out" game. Police asked you to pull out of the car and once again you were too late. Start there. https://t.co/Zvpd8zgKuL
