This (like practically every team) team has flaws. We know that. Will they overcome and cover those issues up? We’ll find out.
I’m not worried for now.
Agreed, Early season loss's don't matter. 9-20 FT shooting didn't help but this was an effort game.
They got up big on them as they should have with such a wide discrepancy in talent between the two teams. KU brought their effort level down and the other team just out efforted and worked them hard to get back in the game. They then started feeling the upset.
If they learn the lesson that you can lose to a way less talented team if you don't play with some passion and effort, might be a good lesson learned come tournament time. [Reply]
We look better today but still a long ways to go. IMHO still too many turnovers for the quality of team we were playing against. ( 9 ) A better team going is going to take advantage with that many turnovers. We got outscored in the second half. [Reply]

No defense was played at all in the 2nd half unfortunately. [Reply]

The dude is always yelling. It can't be too pleasant playing for him. Works for some guys, doesn't for others. Remy seems like the guy who can take it though. Seems to take to coaching, at least externally, yet doesn't do what they want. [Reply]

Another reason not to pay attention to folks on Twitter. Remy's a huge liability defensively right now and he's also making mistakes offensively (he was crucially not where he was supposed to be on the McCormack play against Dayton). He needs to be coached out of his bad habits or they'll never be able to benefit from Remy as much as they could/should. [Reply]
