Beyond that, they seem to have the interest of the top candidates in this year's group. DeMeco Ryans is not Eric Bieniemy. He's going to end up coaching somewhere next year, if it is not the Broncos.
Yeah, Payton wanted full control and you guys weren't willing to give it to him is my guess. Actually a smart move IMO but the consequences of that is you're not going to be hiring a coach that meets the criteria Denver listed if they don't at least have the final say in the organization. [Reply]

The logic is what matters. You make some long winded post only to contradict yourself.
"No one knows shit so don't speculate"
Followed by you speculating what the F/O will do...because...apparently you know shit.

Or maybe your front office doesn't know how to land a blue chip coach. Yeah, it's probably that. [Reply]
I think Demeco ends up with the Texans. Pretty much a blank slate to do what you want with the team and already has well established roots there. [Reply]

Plus actual draft picks to work with and not an albatross of a QB contract to deal with. [Reply]
So they're going to hire a coach that runs a scheme so differently to what they currently run that they're hoping Evero stays another year, all while the offense is left a giant stagnant mess with an albatross at QB. Yikes, in for a rough couple years there in Denver. [Reply]
