“We’ve kinda been talking all along that there is a possibility, whether it be 50–50 or even greater than 50–50, that Sean Payton would go back to Fox for one more year because it’s not like he’s that desperate to get back into coaching that he’s just going to take any job,” Garafolo said. “It was going to have to be the right situation on both sides on the table, and it does not feel like that’s where we are right now. … We’re hearing consistently that it’s the opposite of that.” [Reply]

Mickey Loomis is gonna cave and Penner and Paton are going to get Payton for a bargain :-)
While the Broncos are still searching for a head coach, interim head coach Jerry Rosburg has been let go and will not be a part of the coaching staff going forward, per source.

I think they have their eyes set on Ryans but they're not out on Quinn.
My personal opinion based on multiple conversations with different people is that the Sean Payton ship has sailed... that's not to say they couldn't circle back around, but I think that's pretty dead. https://t.co/LH1nHfGuAk

So now the favorite is Demeco Ryans. IIRC last time we played Demeco Ryans our offense completely obliterated the 49ers. Mahomes had over 400 yards and 3 TDs. [Reply]

If a former linebacker with limited coaching experience can’t fix Russell Wilson’s issue, then I don’t know who can! [Reply]
