Jags were getting away with false starts all game. When they called Clark for an offsides, he literally moved when the LT did. I know I saw Chris Jones getting held at least once too.
You're not joking. Their RT was getting an obvious early jump all damn day. And the offsides penalty looked like a perfect jump to me. Not that it mattered since they completed it for a first down anyway.
I guess the NFL decided a couple years ago to allow more obvious false starts as part of their "protect the QB at all costs" initiative, because it's becoming more and more noticeable. It's such an advantage to the offense when your tackles can get an early jump like that. Makes it really tough for the pass rushers. [Reply]
