Ex-NFL defensive lineman Derek Wolfe hunted and killed a massive mountain lion that was accused of terrorizing a city in Colorado this week. https://t.co/F2ardANQ0e
All those picks spent to still have a lesser HC and QB than KC? That's pathetic as fuck knowmo...Also, the last half of the year KC had a much better defense to boot...uh oh [Reply]

Yeah but, the Broncos had 20 preseason games this year to work out the kinks. The league has been put on notice for next season! [Reply]
McDuffie with a better rookie year than Surtain had. Karlaftis ALREADY showed more than that waste of a FA signing Gregory has in his career. Uh oh 2.0 [Reply]

Denver's going to lose the one thing they had going for them: their DC. IF they even had an edge on KC defensively this year (5.0 yds allowed per play vs 5.1), they likely won't next year. The Chiefs' young players will continue to grow and they have more resources with which to build.
Offensively, they're obviously miles apart, and bringing in Payton won't fix that. It'll just further deplete their resources and ability to add talent.
KC's also in a pretty good spot free agent-wise. They'll have a big decision to make on Orlando Brown, and they'll have to decide whether to re-sign Smith-Schuster, McKinnon, and a few others. But the rest are players that won't be hard to part ways with, like Nnadi, Wylie, Ronald Jones, Henne, etc.
This was KC's "rebuilding" year, and they finished with the best record in the league. They're almost certain to field a stronger team in the coming years, and that's bad, bad news for the 4th place team in the AFC West. :-) [Reply]
