Adams did have a good game against Surtain in their second matchup, but Surtain had his way with him in the first one.

Our ROOKIE corner has a 13.3% target rate. Not even a whole percentage point behind. And our bad ass GM got him with the 21st pick. I’d say that’s significantly a better deal than what Dungver gave for Surtain. And he’s one of about 4 good players on that bottom third llllllllllloaded roster.

So in the first game, Carr threw to Adams 8 times and Surtain only forced 3 incompletions? Yeah, that doesn’t sound like ‘shut down’ to me or ‘had his way with him’. Sounds like Surtain is lucky Carr didn’t target Adams more.

Which seems to be the obvious conclusion when you look at how the second game between the Faid and the Donks went.

Adams made Surtain his bitch this year. Look forward to seeing it twice again next year as Donkos continue their second longest losing streak to in division opponents. Maybe Faid can some day get to 15 straight against the Donks? :-)
