If Jim Harbaugh indeed is out the running for NFL jobs, that increases the urgency for the Broncos to get Sean Payton. He has told associates that he likes the Broncos' stable ownership and is willing to work with Russell Wilson.

You probably just have to take a shit dude. Can’t wait to see what turd takes that horrible job. Can’t wait to watch you say “BEST HIRE EVVVVAAAHHHH”, then realize by week 4 that they suck too. It’s your history, it’s what you do. And it’s fucking hilarious. Like Groundhog Day. Overandoverandoverandoverandoverandover…. [Reply]
I just got off the phone with Coach Harbaugh and Jim shared with me the great news that he is going to remain as the Head Coach of the Michigan Wolverines. That is fantastic news that I have communicated to our Athletic Director Warde Manuel. #GoBlue! pic.twitter.com/3LJzsv4zN9
Sean Payton coached the Aints for 15 seasons with a hall of fame QB at the helm, playing in a lousy conference. He missed the playoffs 6 times. How does a rational mind think he will fare in the AFC West with Mahomes and Herbert? Donkshow fantards think he is the second coming of Bill Walsh. [Reply]
I thought Harbaugh was a legitimate possibility, albeit a small one, but there's zero chance that Payton goes to Denver IMO.
He clearly bailed on the Saints in hopes of a much better job opening, and the Broncos clearly aren't that. Imagine going to that Broncos team knowing they also won't have a 1st round pick after trading for you.
It's an awful situation.
Can't wait for them to settle for Quinn and KnowMo to try to spin it as the best move for them. [Reply]
