I just feel like everyone is going to spend all week talking about Mahomes' ankle or Burrow being a Demigod or Chase against this young secondary or Lou Anarumo being a psychopath...and then in the end it's just going to Samaje Perine bludgeoning Bolton and Gay to death.
We have been doing that the whole career of Mahomes. After the 1st SB, they would lose regular season games when they were the far superior team. All that mattered and gets their 100% maximum effort is the playoffs and a SB run.
Mahomes is past his prime at 29? Come on man :-) [Reply]

Did I miss something? Did Burrough get hurt on Oct 27? [Reply]

Mc****face misses a FG attempt while they're up 10-3 and then Lou does his typical-as-of-late shitty defense and gives up a 3rd and long and the Eagles end up tying the game at the half.
After the missed kick, it was like all the wind was taken out of the sails.
Charmin soft.
Do you want to reload the coaching staff or stick with them?
I've always thought Taylor is a good coach. [Reply]

Don't struggle, it will go by so much faster if you just lay there and transport your mind to another place and time until it's over. [Reply]
Guys, take it easy on our guest. It has to be rough knowing that despite having one of the best qb's in the league, with elite weapons, your season is effectively over before Halloween. [Reply]

If Joe is elite and has elite weapons, then why are they 3-5? One of them is not true. [Reply]

Taylor is good enough as a HC. He needs to hand off play calling to the OC and just oversee the entire game. He has zero awareness of what is working and what isn't and/or who is hot and who isn't. He's so busy being tied up in play calling that he doesn't pay attention to the D when the O is on the sidelines.
He needs to be watching the game and giving input to the OC and DC about what he wants do do, vs what is and isn't working.
Lou has his moments but he's tied to that damn rush 3 drop 8 defense all the time and he's been burnt by it so many times. Giving up multiple 3rd and longs from the same scheme should be a clue that it's not working, but he just doesn't get it.
They're still way too pass happy and even though they don't run it all that well, they've had success with some things that they just don't do enough.
The entire problem is that they're all too stubborn to make any kinds of changes like these. They think, if they stay the course it will eventually work out. "Better execution" is a catch phrase but it's true in most instances. That said, there are tweaks they could do, but they seem unwilling to try them. [Reply]
