Nzoner's Game Room>Space Exploration megathread
DaFace 09:40 AM 06-01-2014
Since a number of cool things are happening in space exploration these days, we'll widen the scope of this thread a smidge. Conversation about all things space exploration are welcome, whether it be from NASA, SpaceX, ULA, Blue Origin, or anyone else. Chances are most of the discussion will still be about SpaceX since they love to make things public and fun, but nothing's off limits. I'll eventually get around to modifying the OP to include resources for other companies too, but in the meantime, feel free to post any cool stuff you run across.

Although, there are also other spots right there accessible to the public for a ticket fee. For example:

Your wife works for SpaceX? Do you ever get to see her?

There is a—um, period—each month that Elon no longer requires her services.

Otherwise, I’m relegated to the cuck chair.

(Just kidding). She works a fair amount but it ain’t that bad. Days and nights like today make it pretty special.

No dual side booster landing from falcon heavy today. Every last bit of fuel/propulsion is needed to get clipper to its required orbit to achieve earth gravity assist.

We're spoiled with the visuals SpaceX gets from Starlink. What do you mean we don't have a steady 4K stream from deep space? :-)

Separation confirmed! This has to be SpaceX's highest-profile launch yet, right? Or at least I can't remember anything anywhere close to a $5 BILLION cost before.
