If you thought that was bad, you'd be shocked to hear they toned it down significantly, and many of us that knew about Blood and Cheese were expecting even more trauma :-)

In the book, it's two sons, and they make her pick one, they kill the other while telling him "You hear that little boy? Your momma wants you dead!"
In the opening on the wall when Cretan Stark is telling Prince Jacaerys about the time his father brought King Jarhaerys and Queen Alysanne to the wall and they watched as their dragons would not fly past it?
That was a nice little slap in the face to the late seasons of GoT. And I loved it.
