I'm still enjoying watching the show but I'll admit that I don't quite understand the plans and motivations for all of the characters at this point. Especially with Sister Sage. Like how was it her "plan" to...well if you haven't seen the season finale yet, you will see what I mean. It doesn't quite make sense. [Reply]

Agreed. I'd like to see less calculated political maneuvering and a lot more of Homelander going absolutely ape shit because he doesn't give a shit about laws or norms. [Reply]

But the thing about homelander is that he still craves people adoring him. At the beginning it was about EVERYONE loving him. Now it's about getting a cult of people to love him. If he loses that support, then all hell will break loose because that's the only thing keeping him tethered to reality. [Reply]

It still has an entertainment factor if for nothing else it pushes the boundaries and is so over the top it's tough to even take their PC and political takes seriously. When they stop taking a ~20 foot penis out of the story that knocks out Butcher I'll stop watching but as long as they take everything not too seriously I'm watching.
Oh, no gay, but Mother's Milk looked way better the last seasons. [Reply]
Just finished the 4th season. Seems like Amazon didn't want to pay for any actors that had bit parts in season 5. It was the red wedding on all those people. [Reply]
I started watching the third season. I feel like the series could have ended with Becca's death. I like how the show highlights various social issues, but I think it could have been done more sharply. [Reply]
