By all means, hire Jim Harbaugh. By most accounts, the dude is a ****ing weirdo psychopath that can't get along with anyone and completely ****ed over his assistant coaches in SF.
Harbaugh would set that team on fire and either get fired, or dip for a higher paying job somewhere else after 2-3 years of failing to win the division.
The uncreative, old school Jim Harbaugh will go down in flames in the 2023 NFL. Would love to see it.

Nathaniel Hackett was FIRED UP at the Nuggets game tonight. When asked what will be different with the Broncos with him as head coach, he said: “We’re just going to tear it up. It’s that simple… LETS GO!”
This year Broncos -Acquired starting QB for low round pick, paid him $4M (Panthers paid him $7M); -Traded Von Miller, with expiring contract, for 2nd/3rd rd picks; -Hired highly respected coach w/strong ties to a certain QB; -Soon to be sold for record-setting price. Trending up.

Everything they did last year makes sense if you view it through the Rodgers lens. It's why they held on to Drew, and only Drew for so long. It's why they traded for a cheap fallback QB the night before the draft. It's why they didn't pursue Justin Fields or Mac Jones, and chose a corner instead. It's why they traded Von Miller for a 2nd and a 3rd. It's why they gave Courtland Sutton and Tim Patrick contract extensions mid-season. It's why they fired Fangio and hired Rodgers' Offensive Coordinator. This has all been planned out with Rodgers in mind.
Well, depending on how the final game goes, Denver could set a new league record with 10 losses that were 7 or fewer points. Five of those losses for 3 or fewer points. #awesome
1 - loss to SEA 16/17
3 - loss to IND 9/12
3 - loss to LAC 16/19
7 - loss to NYJ 9/16
7 - loss to TEN 10/17
6 - loss to LAR 16/22
1 - loss to BAL 9/10
6 - loss to KCC 28/34
3 - loss to KCC 24/27
? LAC [Reply]

That just shows how bad they really are. Now do it with losing seasons where they were just a few games shy of .500. Point is there are lots of ways to suck and Denver is good at many. :-) [Reply]
Sounds precisely like taco john discussing political outcomes with similar accuracy.

I would take all of that with a grain of salt. Coaches swear undying loyalty to a program or team all the time only to jump ship first chance they can to what they consider a better opportunity. [Reply]
What about Jon Gruden? Whomever they get the best that can happen is being an average team as long as Russ is there, but I can see Gruden being on the radar. [Reply]
