Penner might be the wealthiest owner but how much of that can he access? Also would he be willing to? Would the owners of the other 31 teams let him just do something like that? He might be the richest owner, but he is still only 1 of 32. He’s not the CEO that can just dictate what he wants and I doubt the other owners are going to sit by as he overpays coaches because he can, especially if that means coach salaries skyrocket. [Reply]
