For as much as Jordan epitomized the popularity of late 80s early 90s BB, the ability to play defense and actually strategize based on the ability to play defense was part of the epic-ness of the era.
Documentary said Rodman would subtly cup asscheeks of offensive players trying to back him down, just another mental tool in his arsenal.
Hated the **** out of Lambier back in the day [softened on him since] but respected the heck out of the rest of the bad boy Pistons.
best sports show I've seen in AGES!
Rodman was rather normal back then.
can't remember who it was....but the guy says "yeah Rodman would like pinch your butt.....then you looking at him the rest of the game like....what's WRONG with him!"
cut to Rodman....he says...."Yeah Mahorn taught me that one." :-)

great show. must see.
Isiah's 25 points in the 3rd quarter on ONE LEG is epic. Think about it, a fully functional Wilt with all his advantages hit 100 for a game from the inside, perhaps THE defining performance of the history of the NBA, perhaps all of sports. Isiah was on pace for that for a quarter from the perimeter with a sprained ankle that was visibly affecting him.

There's no way to know what all that guy had been saying to Griffin for the whole game up until that point. I'm guessing it was more than just a little clapping.

Exactly my point. The guy I originally quoted said something to the effect of "Way to stick it to a guy who was obviously heckling him... or something like that."
