As to your comment about the defense, Harbaugh's 9ers were 3rd, 4th, 5th, and 5th in yards allowed, the 2022 Broncos are currently in 7th, with 2 of the teams ranked above them yet to play this week. Not sure it's a huge step down.
I'm not really sure why he'd pick the Broncos over any other team, but if he does I'd be glad to have him.

He inherited all that talent and then proceeded to drive the franchise into the ground in his 4th season. His drafts were terrible and he blamed it all on the GM bc he “didn’t have full control”.
He’s be an improvement but getting him won’t put you over us for the division

Jim Harbaugh was handed an elite talented football squad from years of high draft picks and proceeded to ruin the franchise in in less than 4 years. [Reply]

So you think he’ll have the same exact success with Dungver? Is he going to have a quarterback on a rookie contract to allow him the ability to keep a good team around him? Cuz EmbaRuss is gonna be one of the top paid quarterbacks for years to come. Do you think he’s gonna make a bottom third OL into an above average one overnight? He’s a run first guy. Is that how you see them being able to overcome Mahomes and Herbert in the division? Let’s face it, if you’re going to have ANY success with a new coaching staff, you’re going to have to cut away some talent to get picks that will help build a roster that hasn’t seen a winning season in 7 years. Can’t lie, I doubt he goes to that shit hole, but I’d welcome it. Your quarterback is garbage and won’t be fixed by another new coach (unless maybe Pete becomes available). It’s gonna take a few years to get back up to being actually able to compete in this division. Being the 4th best team in a division with 2 elite quarterbacks isn’t something Jimmy is going to want to be a part of. Who were the other quarterbacks in the NFCW when he took over?
1. Sam Bradford
2. Matt Hasselbeck
3. Alex Smith
4. Charlie Whitehurst
5. Derek Anderson/John Skelton
C’mon man, almost any coach could have made some noise in a division with those starting quarterbacks. Andy would have owned that division. Yet Jimmy made one SB and lost it, then bailed asap. Good luck with the coaching carousel that continues to spin out of control in Dungver! We have the best coach/quarterback in the division, and bringing Jimmy in won’t change that. [Reply]

The sum of my knowledge about the 49ers drafts is only what I've learned in the last 5 minutes, but yeah, their drafts from 2011-2014 were bad. However, their drafts since then (outside of 2019 when they had the #2 pick) have been just as bad. [Reply]

This gets referenced a lot by the media as well. If they convert that TD, there's still 1:40 remaining and the 9ers have a 27-24 lead. Is there anyone out there who believes the Chiefs don't at least tie the game up to force OT? After all, the Chiefs took over on downs and promptly scored another TD.
So, while people love say that throw would have won the game, it's simply not true. [Reply]
Haven’t seen MHM in here since we ran off number 15. Family outting? I swear he said this was the year the streak ends. Don’t get me wrong, I like MHM. Seems like a good guy, at least when he’s been humbled by 7 years of losing seasons, and 15 straight losses to the best team in the division. I’m sure there was quite a bit of snark from him before the streak started, but Jesus it’s been so long I can’t even remember his pre streak attitude. [Reply]

“I think it is a done deal if he gets an offer.” Jim Harbaugh's led Michigan to consecutive B1G titles, but also been great as an NFL coach. If an NFL team wants him, will he leave Michigan? Reporting w/ @NicoleAuerbach@byAustinMeek on Harbaugh/NFL 2.0: https://t.co/q4VrLN7OLu
Oh look, Denver is looking for a HC again. Isn't this like 4 in 6 years??? Its what you guys do and its just one of many reasons why Last Place Denver SUCKS! The more things change, the more they remain the same… :-) [Reply]
